Darby Huffman – Master Potter
I throw pots to bring forth vessels of centered beauty for the world to use. I fell in love with clay when I was five, making a candy dish. And then in high school, I discovered the wheel and have been throwing pots ever since. The wheel allows me to make a form that is fulfilling.
The fullness of a vessel that you can hold in your hands that feels so right is what feeds me. I feel moved by the opportunity to share with the world a special pot that is used every day, touching their lives.
I imagine hands on the pot using it; eyes enjoying it’s form for years to come.
